What To Expect
Initial Phone Consultation
Prior to your first appointment, we suggest scheduling a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation. During this call, Raziel will briefly discuss what you are looking for, your current situation, and any other questions or concerns you may have. We are happy to help make an initial determination on what your dollar can buy so you can be as realistic as possible. If you are obtaining financing, we will also discuss your options so you will be prepared and feel confident in your lenders even prior to meeting with us in person. To schedule an initial phone call, please contact us.
We understand that purchasing a home is a major life event and a very personal process, so our first meeting is designed to be as comprehensive and educational as possible. We will answer all of your questions and determine if we are the right fit for you. This initial meeting time can range from 90 minutes to up to 2 hours.
During the meeting, the following topics will be discussed:
What is most important to you
Neighborhoods/areas of interest
The home buying process
Strategies for successful negotiation
Current market conditions and what your dollar will buy
How to mitigate any inevitable bumps that may pop up
How we work, and how a real estate professional is compensated
The expectations of both parties will also be discussed, as well as fiduciary responsibilities and how our clients formalize their relationship with an agreement designating us as their Realtor. By the end of the meeting, it should be clear whether or not both parties are a good fit for each other.
Raziel has a formula for buying a house that we listened to and it worked for us. He's a genuinely good human being and is not in the market to solely make money. He has a clear focus on community, he is extremely familiar with the neighborhoods, and has lived in this area his whole life. No realtor can find you your perfect home, but Raziel’s knowledge gives you the optimal chance at getting a house. We would pick Raziel over other realtors not only because of his high success rate, but because your relationship with him will not stop after you sign the last document.
Raziel really takes the time to understand your needs and is willing to think outside the box if need be. When we first met with him in his office for our initial interview, he learned that we were looking for a home that would also interest my Mother-In-Law as she would be staying with us quite a bit to help look after our daughter and would likely live in the home once the time comes for us to buy our next home. Knowing this, Raziel went through the trouble of translating his client-facing real estate documents into Chinese so she could be more involved. Wow.
Raziel was really responsive and communicative throughout the home buying process. He is extremely knowledgeable about the market and gave us honest and trusted feedback and advice. I felt like he really listened to what we wanted and managed our expectations. Now that it’s been a few months since we’ve closed, I’ve also come to appreciate that Raziel also has set out to make a community among his clients. He’s done a great job of introducing us to neighbors and providing us with great referrals.
When we first started looking, it was a bit de-moralizing. We were looking at open houses, and things were either too expensive, or disappeared from the market immediately. Once we knew we were serious, we interviewed a few realtors and really liked Raziel. We ended up buying the first house we looked at with him, and it was much easier than we expected. Raziel is one of the most honest, intelligent, professional, competent, and fundamentally good people we've worked with.

Even though we have only known Raziel for a year, we feel like he is now part of our family. Buying a home is such a personal process and one that can be very stressful. Throughout the entire process, Raziel always responded quickly, gave awesome recommendations and took a lot of the stress out of having such a unique and complex buying process.
As someone who grew up in Burlingame, Raziel knows a lot of people and businesses that matched my needs. I ended up using the lender that he referred, and the homeowner insurance company that I picked is also from his reference list as well.
I love my place very much and will happily stay here for many years to come...but if I ever think about moving or selling this place, Raziel will definitely my go-to person.
Raziel spent time getting to know us and fully understand what we were looking for. We originally sought him out for his in-depth knowledgeable of the market and his commitment to educating us on the buying process in this area, though quickly found he had a lot more to offer than just his competence and expertise. His great enthusiasm and desire to make the buying process enjoyable was remarkable. Raziel was committed to finding us our dream home and for a price we were comfortable paying versus getting us into any home just to meet our deadline. We are so grateful that we found Raziel and can not imagine a better experience searching for/buying a home or feeling welcome in a new community.

Raziel is so knowledgeable that I was never concerned that we weren't making the right decisions. I felt very well-informed. He was willing to talk about the needs of the now and also think with us ahead into our future. Raziel was patient and calm, even when it seemed like things were not going our way. He gave good advice and advocated for us and our interests.
This was by far the most intense buying process we’ve been
through given the state of the market, location, and trends. It was
incredibly important to have someone with a real depth of local knowledge and
be able to be aggressive with confidence. You have to be aggressive to be
successful, and you really
have to rely on deep local knowledge, experience and some relationships locally
to make that successful and not any more risky than it needs to be. We felt like Raziel’s local knowledge really
helped us feel confident in the whole process.
My wife and I used Raziel both for buying our new home and selling our old one, and couldn't be happier with the results. First we bought a fantastic house in a Burlingame neighborhood with very little inventory, and paid a price we were actually happy with--in part because of his excellent advice. Next we sold our old house (also in Burlingame) for a price at the upper end of the range we were hoping for.
This was a multiple offer scenario and Raziel was a superstar in strategizing and negotiating the deal. WE GOT IT!!
Fast forward a few years and I still see Raziel a few times a year, whether he is sending a San Carlos real estate market report, throwing a client appreciation event, or stopping by (legitimately) just to say hello! I highly recommend Raziel for any real estate transaction, real estate advice, or for any realtor advice locally or nationally.

Raziel operates with true professionalism, the highest standards of ethics, and is widely respected throughout the town and in the real estate community. Just take a stroll down the Avenue or Broadway with him sometime and be amazed at how many people know him and greet him! Raziel is patient, always calm and collected, never puts pressure on a conversation or an element of a transaction, and in general is an outstanding counselor during negotiations. He's an excellent and thorough listener, and by virtue of that, an outstanding partner throughout this process.
Working with Raziel to find our first home was the best decision we ever made. While all our friends had complained that it took multiple offers to finally get a home, we got our dream home the first time we made an offer. Why? Because of Raziel. When we saw our home, we were ready. Raziel told us exactly what we needed to do to get the house. Plus, Raziel's great reputation and strong relationship with the listing broker helped present us in the best light. We got the house over many other bidders and I strongly believe it was Raziel that make all the difference!

Raziel was very helpful in describing differences between various communities on the peninsula. We had gone to open houses each weekend to explore neighborhoods. When we found the first house that we felt would be perfect for us, we put a bid on it, and did not think we would have a chance but our bid was accepted. Overall, we were very happy with the process.
Working with Raziel was easy, pleasant, and simply harmonious. We
only had four or five weeks to get out of our house and into a new
home, so it was really, really stressful for us. Raziel took the stress out of this for us. He was our advocate from start to finish and was consistently available to support us with his expertise in buying and selling our homes.
What surprised me most about this last home buying experience was Raziel. I wasn't expecting to find such an intuitive, caring, responsive, patient and professional agent. This man knows what he's doing and he represented my interests much better than I could have done myself. I will always be grateful. My experience working with Raziel was outstanding. Buying or selling a home is a huge decision to make and Raziel made it as comfortable as humanly possible. Both transactions went smoothly and it came down to his personality, his creativity and his experience.
We found Raziel be incredibly knowledgeable, hardworking, and responsive--essential qualities in a realtor. Furthermore, as first time homebuyers considering the biggest purchase we'd ever made, my husband and I relied heavily Raziel's expertise, and he skillfully guided us through the entire process while simultaneously answering a never-ending barrage of questions from us. Buying a home in the Bay Area can be daunting, especially in this market, but Raziel was a tremendous support for us throughout this endeavor.
Raziel made what could feel like a daunting process simple. He made us feel like educated buyers based on his knowledge of the Burlingame housing market. I liked the fact that Raziel not only grew up in this community but is a part of this community. We could not be happier with the way things turned out! We absolutely love our new home that he found for us and I know that we will be happy here for many years to come.

Raziel is by far the most effective realtor we have ever worked with. He approaches his profession with the utmost integrity – which made us completely comfortable and confident throughout the tumultuous buying process. Raziel has a keen understanding of the market and of human behavior, which makes him a strong negotiator. He conducted our house search with compassion, intelligence and complete responsiveness. After 10 months of looking in Burlingame we finally bought a home and we have Raziel to thank for that!
