What do you love the most about your neighborhood?

Sonam

The people here are so warm and friendly. When we arrived, several neighbors stopped by to welcome us and do introductions. I also love how kids of all ages play around in the evenings. It makes it so lively.

Vatsal

The convenience is unbeatable. It’s 10 minutes walk to downtown for eating out, groceries, cinema and Caltrain. I wanted a place which is centrally located between the valley and SF and the Baywood location is great in that regard.

What was your journey like buying a home?

Sonam

It was a long process before we met Raziel. We had spent close to two years looking when we started working with him. After meeting with Raziel, he arranged a tour of different neighborhoods which helped us narrow down the places

Vatsal

I had never considered the Baywood neighborhood before touring. So checking out the various peninsula neighborhoods really helped us in picking the place.

Sonam

One of the things I liked was how Raziel on a few occasions was able to even point out off market properties or places about to come on the market, which was a great competitive advantage in the current market.

Vatsal

After we finally found our home, Raziel helped us craft the offer and get it accepted. After our offer was accepted, Raziel and his team closely managed the closing process which went super smoothly. Closing a home post purchase can be stressful with multiple things to chase down but many many thanks to Raziel, he kept us calm and made it seamless for us.

Sonam

We are glad to have worked with him and will highly recommended to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

What surprised you most about the home buying process?

Sonam

Be prepared to take multiple weekends to look at places. It takes a while to know what you will really like.

Vatsal

People had told us that it’s competitive but it still surprised me.

My experience working with Raziel was ______________.

Vatsal

FANTASTIC!

Sonam

Yes, we can’t praise Raziel enough. He was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods on the peninsula and often had uncommon insights. Throughout the process, he was very respectful, responsive and offered insightful advice of how to think about price/competition/neighborhood/offer terms when considering a property.

Where did you grow up? How did you decide to stay here?

Vatsal

I grew up all over India (in seven different states). After my undergraduate studies, I moved to the US for graduate school and moved to the Bay Area shortly thereafter. The weather, incredible tech community and quality of life made it an easy to choice to make this area home.

Sonam

I also grew up in India. I echo what Vatsal mentioned but it also helped tremendously that we have close family here (Vatsal’s sister lives in Burlingame).

What was your first job?

Sonam

Teaching electrical engineering.

Vatsal

Making webpages for small businesses (during the dotcom boom).

What's your favorite movie?

Sonam

Vatsal

What's on the top of your bucket list item?

Vatsal

Sleep on the weekend :)

Sonam

Lol, we just had our first child (Nandav) which has brought so much joy, peace and happiness. Everything but sleep :)

What organizations do you love?

Sonam
