What do you love the most about your neighborhood?
Location location location: Partially hilly, so has great views. Proximity to 280. Homes in our neighborhood have a good lot size, so while we have the necessary amount of privacy, we don’t feel secluded either.
Amazing neighbors and that we live close to the beautiful Mills Canyon.
What was your journey like buying a home?
The process moved quicker than we thought. We advanced our search by a year due to covid. We narrowed down our search to Burlingame over a few days, and found our dream home within a month.
Fun. And things progressed sooner than we anticipated. We had just started exploring different neighborhoods in the Peninsula and were lucky to find our perfect home in a matter of 3-4 weeks.
What surprised you the most?
How fast one has to decide even though there are unknowns.
How hot the market was despite the uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
What was your experience working with Raziel?
Stress-free. Raziel took the time to understand what we’re looking for, provided useful insights and helped us navigate the process until closure.

Where did you grow up? How did you decide to stay here?
I grew up in India and moved to the US for work, with Rakesh.
I was raised in India. Career opportunities and the great weather brought us to California.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Finding a great life partner in my wife.
Building a new life in a new country with my wonderful husband.
What was your childhood ambition?
To be famous one day! Haha.
To become an astronaut.
What’s your favorite hidden gem?
The picturesque Mori Point trail!
Stumbled upon Guittard Chocolate Co when driving in the area. Would love to visit sometime!
What’s been your biggest challenge?
In recent memory, it has to be working from home during the pandemic.
Staying optimistic during the pandemic.
What was your first job?
Analyst at an investment bank.
Engineer at an automotive tech firm.
What’s your greatest Inspiration?
Elon Musk for his ability to challenge the status quo.
I’m very inspired by my dad. Adopting a learner’s mindset in his late sixties, he started learning to play the piano and puts in consistent effort every day to get good at it!
What’s your favorite movie?
The Prestige.
Many! Shawshank redemption if I have to name one.
What’s on the top of your bucket list item?
RV trip around New Zealand.
