What was your experience like working with Raziel?
We were really happy with our home buying experience. Raziel's friendly, upbeat attitude and patience was just what we needed in our low-inventory target area. His local knowledge of individual streets and houses was amazing, and his network helped us find a great property. We are detail-oriented people, so we especially appreciate his great communication skills and attention to being organized. We loved working with Raziel. We would use him again in an instant and will strongly recommend him to our friends and family.
Where did you grow up?
We both grew up on the east coast (MD), but met in SF. Doug came to the bay area for college and Amy came out after college for a job. The bay are is beautiful and we are lucky enough to have had good jobs to be able to stay! While we miss the seasons on the east coast, with kids that can now play outside in year round nice weather, being her is certainly a plus!
What do you love the most about your neighborhood?
We love that we can walk/scooter/bike everywhere. Doug takes Caltrain to work in SF and the kids rarely get in the car for school or other activities. Being near Washington Park and downtown is so nice. What we also really love about Burlingables is its amazing walkability. The proximity to Washington Park gives the neighborhood a real community center; a place to gather for all the families nearby. We love the oak trees lining the streets, which gives it a beautiful character.
What was your journey like buying a home?
When we decided to move out of SF for more space and good neighborhood schools, Burlingame was our town of choice. We looked at 20+ houses and didn't get the first one we put an offer on, but it worked our for us when Raziel contacted a past client to see if she was thinking of selling her house in the neighborhood we liked best (Burlingables).
What surprised you the most about the home buying process?
That no house can meet all your expectations! Once you accept that, you find the best one to suit your family with preparation and patience.
