The Burlingables neighborhood of Burlingame was incredibly active in the middle of 2011, with 20 homes sold from May through November, compared to 16 homes sold for all of 2010. The pace of the market has cooled considerably in recent months, which is characteristic for the wintertime. No homes have been sold in December 2011 or January 2012.

Only one home has been listed in the last three months. This has contributed to a decline in available inventory in Burlingables. In the middle of 2011 the number of homes for sale peaked at seven homes. At the end of January 2012, there was only one single family home on the market.

Burlingables is sometimes referred to as Oak Grover Manor. Homes in Burlingables regularly sell for at least $650 per square feet, $50 more than the city of Burlingame average. However, median and average selling values are lower than the overall Burlingame average because the homes in the neighborhood are often smaller.
