We love the proximity to Washington Park and downtown. The neighborhood's sidewalks and tree-lined streets make it very walkable and we are at Washington Park at least twice a day with our dog and 10-month old son.

The Burlingame market is tough and it can be frustrating to not just find a home, but close the deal on the right home. You need a partner to be in it with you for the long haul.

It surprised me how competitive the Burlingame market is - homes are going for 20% over asking, all-cash bids, with no contingencies (regardless of the condition of the home). Even then, you are often in competition with 5-10 other families.

Raziel is extremely well networked into the local market and to other professionals - contractors, agents, home inspectors, etc. We tapped into many to help with various properties - all of his recommendations were top-notch and were willing to bend over backwards to help meet our timelines. It's clear that his integrity and impeccable communication has clearly earned him stripes within his field. Many agents we would see at open homes knew his name and sang his praises - which was critical when it came to negotiations with the sellers!

It's not quite hidden but we love going to Hog Island Oyster Farm - it is a beautiful and still relatively untouched slice of Northern California where cell phones don't work and your can shuck and grill oysters. We do a family barbecue there every year!

Time: Figuring out a way to clone ourselves so we can spend time with each other AND get everything done!
