If you still haven’t made your final New Year’s Eve plans, there is still time to plan a great evening of dining and dancing as we say goodbye to 2011.

Broadway Grill’s Dinner and Dance Party: There is a four course dinner with a complimentary midnight champagne toast and music by the Pure Ecstacy Band. The Broadway Grill offers food, drink and live music seven nights a week. Add a friendly and attentive staff and you have a perfect place for a casual night out or a special occasion.

Club Fox in Redwood City celebrates 50 years of the Rolling Stones with a concert performed by the Unauthorized Rolling Stones. Dance to the music of “the World’s Greatest Rock & Roll Band” while waiting for the countdown to 2012.

Get your friends together and celebrate the New Year on the Belle of the Bay New Year’s Eve Cruise offered by Hornblower Cruises & Events. The night includes a four hour cruise, a buffet dinner, an open standard bar, pre-boarding photograph, entertainment and dining. To top off the night, you can watch the midnight wireworks show while enjoying San Francisco Bay views. There is also a Premier New Year’s Eve Cruise.

If you’d rather stay on the shore but don’t want to miss the excitement, get to Pier 14 for the New Year’s Eve fireworks on the bay. You might want to avoid the traffic by taking the train to the Embarcadero.

For those of you who prefer to leave the driving to someone else, some public transit agencies are offering free rides or extended schedules on New Year's Eve. For more information visit www.bart.gov, www.caltrain.com or www.vta.org.
