1640 Monte Corvino Way in the Ray Park neighborhood just closed. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath full updated custom home had 3,070 square feet and was on a standard 6,000 s/f lot. The asking price was $1,850,000 and it went into contract after only four days on the market, and sold $25,000 over the asking price for $1,875,000, which is the highest sales price of the year for a home in Ray Park. Homes selling at this price point are much more typical of neighboring Easton Addition and the Burlingame Hills which is why this sale is significant and breaks new ground as a high sale for the neighborhood. The same home in Easton Addition likely would have fetched about five to ten percent premium though without much discernable difference in the neighborhood. The location is excellent, just blocks from highly regarded Lincoln Elementary School and Ray Park.
