Now in its 71st season, the Hillbarn Theatre presents the Pulitzer Prize winning play, Crimes of the Heart through March 25th. The play, which was made into a film starring Sissy Spacek, Jessica Lange and Diane Lane depicts the plight of three adult sisters raised in a dysfunctional home. The Hillbarn has already presented classic Tony award winning musicals such as City of Angels and The Will Rogers Follies, The Drowsy Chaperone as well as comedy classics such as Social Security. The season close with Mel Brooks’ hilarious musical production of The Producers.

The theater has also joined with the Foster City Library for a new discussion series called “Barn Talks”, which will focus on the creators sand characters of theatrical works. The Producers will open on May 3rd, and you have the opportunity to examine The Zany Career of Mel Brooks on May 14th. After learning about the man who gave us Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, High Anxiety and The Producers, there will be a drawing where you can win tickets to see The Producers at Hillbarn.
