Not Much Recent Activity

Over the past few years,  Burlingame Gardens has averaged just less than one sale a month, with activity higher in the middle of the year. There has not been a lot of recent activity. In the first four months of 2012, there have been only two home sold.

Buyers looking into the Burlingame Gardens neighborhood have not had many listings from which to choose. Only seven homes have been listed in the last twelve months. Over that same period, there have been eleven homes sold. This has driven down inventory to the point where in each of the last four months, there have been no unsold homes in the neighborhood at the end of the month. This is atypical, even for the Burlingame Gardens real estate market, where there are usually a handful of homes on unsold homes.

Burlingame Gardens is one of the lower priced neighborhoods in Burlingame, with an average price per square feet just above $500. Average and median selling values fluctuate with the size of homes being sold. Over the past few years the average home sold has been about 1,500 square feet. An average size home selling for an average price per square foot in Burlingame Gardens goes for around $750,000-$800,000.
