January is Poetry Month at the Burlingame Library!

Poet-Tree on the Savanna kicks off on January 2ns and runs through January 31st. Children who write an original poem and bring it to the Main Library or the Easton Branch during the month will receive a free paperback poetry book. (Limit one book per child.)

Poet-Tree and Pizza on January 27 gives your elementary school-aged children (K – 5) an opportunity to read their original poems. Bring the family to this open-mic poetry reading program where children will read their original poems to an audience and share some pizza.

Poet-Tree and Pizza is a free program, but space is limited so you’ll have to register everyone who plans to attend. (This will require separate registration for each attendee.) Click here to sign up and reserve your space.

When: January 27th, 2 pm – 3:30 pm
Where: 480 Primrose Road, Burlingame. (Lane Room)
Phone: 650-558-7400, ext. 3
