Preston's Candy & Ice Cream, a family-owned manufacturing and retail candy and ice cream business in Burlingame makes their candy in small batches to ensure freshness and high quality.
In 1946, after serving in the U.S. Army in World War II, Art Preston used a GI Bill loan to open his own candy store, and Preston's Candy & Ice Cream has been in business at the same location ever since, bringing delicious tastes and wholesome confections to residents of Burlingame and the surrounding counties, and around the world.
Art retired in1997, but since then he's been passing along his candy-making expertise and internationally acclaimed recipes to the new candy artisans, who maintain that same commitment to quality and freshness.
Preston's candies have won many international awards, including the Grand Champion Medallion of the International Truffle Competition for three years in a row, as well as numerous awards in the Retail Confectioners International competition.
