Now iFly Indoor Skydiving gives you the chance to experience what it feels like to skydive, but without the fear of jumping out of an airplane. Whether you are beginner or an experienced skydiver, iFly welcomes you...it's so easy my wife and I did it last year year and we loved it, and no experience is necessary. It's basically skydiving in a safe environment...iFly SF Bay uses a vertical wind tunnel to simulate what it feels like to skydive. Children as young as 3 years old can do it and there is no upper age limit. Of course there are some restrictions, and you can learn about them by clicking here. iFly is located just across the 92 freeway in Union City, about a 25 minute drive from Burlingame.
The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, and after a brief training video they'll give you knee pads, elbow pads, ear plugs, a flight suit, a helmet and goggles for your flight. You would be wise to make your reservation early because even though iFly is open every day, they often run at full capacity.
