Average price per square foot increased 16%, to $1,580, and total sales fell only by one, to 17, after increasing by 42% in 2020 to 2021. What may be more notable for this market’s future is how its range of sold properties changed from 2021 to 2022. Over half of Burlingame Park sales closed escrow for more than $4 million in 2021, whereas this year only five of 17 sales reached that level. Of those five, though, four were for $5 million-plus, led by a $6.5 million sale that closed escrow in late September, several months into 2022’s changed market.
