The private courtyard welcomes you as you enter the heart of the home, an open-concept chef's kitchen perfect for entertaining and family gatherings. Floor-to-ceiling espresso cabinetry is beautifully offset by a crisp white quartz waterfall island offering comfortable seating for multiple guests. Equipped with professional-grade stainless steel appliances, including a DCS Fisher Paykel multi-burner gas range with Bosch hood, Miele dishwasher, KitchenAid French door refrigerator, and a built-in microwave, this kitchen is as functional as it is elegant. The adjoining eat-in dining area flows seamlessly from the kitchen, anchored by a custom-built-in breakfast nook equipped with a wine fridge and a secondary prep sink, a thoughtful touch, and perfect for effortless daily family living.

The family room showcases the home’s signature architectural feature, a see-through fireplace that serves both the living and dining areas. Framed in floor-to-ceiling textured porcelain in warm taupe and gray tones, this hearth is as functional as it is striking. Rich hardwood flooring flows throughout the home, uniting the spaces and creating a seamless, open feel that connects the family room, dining area, and living spaces.

The home also offers a dedicated office space, ideal for today’s work-from-home lifestyle, along with a well-appointed guest bathroom and a dedicated laundry area.

Exceptional indoor-outdoor living defines the home, with a sun-drenched, fully private sanctuary framed by a lush, meticulously maintained lawn that anchors the central courtyard. Burlingame

Ray Park

Ray Park experienced a dramatic decline in transaction volume in 2025, with sales plummeting 67% to just four homes (down from 12 in 2024), which is crazy!. Average prices rose 2.8% to $3.204 million, though the median fell slightly to $2.977 million from $3.090 million. The small sample size makes year-over-year comparisons challenging, but several metrics stand out: homes sold extraordinarily quickly at just 7.5 days on market (down from 17.2 days in 2024), and price per square foot surged 17% to $1,746 — the highest in all of Burlingame. The sale-to-list ratio of 102.0% was the lowest among all neighborhoods, suggesting less competitive bidding, though this reflects the small sample size.

Burlingame is one of the few areas that has maintained its gracious charm and timeless elegance over the decades. A favorite among families, Burlingame’s two main shopping areas, Burlingame Avenue and Broadway, attract a wide variety of shoppers discovering its boutiques, restaurants, dessert places, and clothing stores. Home to fresh farmer’s markets every Sunday morning in the summer and fall, jazz concerts in Washington Park, and a yearly Art in the Park fair, Burlingame is a wonderful place to start a family or retire later in life, and is well equipped for both!

Its tree lined streets offer an abundance of architecture and style of homes, from quaint two bedroom bungalows to thoughtfully designed four and five bedrooms.

Burlingame is well known for it’s beautiful trees: each of its 15,000 trees is visited at least once every five years for care, and Burlingame has been a Tree City USA for over 30 consecutive years.

All addresses in Burlingame go to Burlingame High School (In 2003, the district lines were redrawn to incorporate this change). Burlingame High is within the San Mateo Union High School District (not the Burlingame School District, which includes all five public elementary schools and BIS). To verify enrollment information, please contact the High School District.

Burlingame shares a common history with neighbors San Mateo, Millbrae and Hillsborough, but only up to a point. Like the surrounding communities, Burlingame was once the site of native Costanoan villages and then part of a Mexican land grant (Rancho Buri Buri to the north and Rancho San Mateo to the south). Burlingame’s history diverges from that of nearby Peninsula cities in the late 1800s, when Francis Newlands, son-in-law of landowner and Nevada Senator William Sharon, came up with a plan to turn this stretch of real estate into a playground for San Francisco’s wealthiest residents.
