What do you love the most about your neighborhood?
We’ve been living in San Carlos for the last 8 years. It is both tranquil and lively, with hustling and bustling high tech professionals but still maintains that touch of old-fashioned small-town charm. We love the people here. It’s a pretty convenient location with easy access to cities, airports and our favorite restaurants along the peninsula.
What was your journey like buying a home, and what surprised you the most?
There were very specific components we were looking for this time, such as particular streets/locations within the community and the need for a bigger lot. We did have to wait for the right home to come onto the market and that extended our timeline out quite a bit but it was worth the wait. We were surprised that the market was as competitive as it was, given COVID and a fair amount of uncertainty with the economy in general.
What was your experience like selling your home?
It was a bit nerve-wracking but Raziel and his team have made it very seamlessly for us. The team provided transparency to the entire processes right from the get-go which was very helpful while setting the right expectations. Our favorite was the comprehensive activities calendar and a checklist of to-do’s that helped keeping the chaos organized. Everyone was also very available and prompt in responding to questions and concerns. Definitely made a highly complex and potentially stress event more manageable.
What was your experience working with Raziel?
The biggest factor for us to work with Raziel is knowing that he would provide as much info and support as possible, to not only guide us in a direction such that the choices we make are well-informed, but also bringing the right team together to execute on them.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Making a very quick and decisive call on the purchase while managing several other moving parts, where anyone of them failing could have caused the deal to fall through.
What was your childhood ambition?
Becoming an Olympic swimmer.
Becoming a scientist.
