Burlingame Village continued to be Burlingame’s most affordable neighborhood in 2021 with an average home price of $2.009 million and Burlingame’s only sub-$2 million median of $1.937 million. For the year, the small district located at the Millbrae border only logged six sales, down from 11 in 2020, and lost 2% of its average sale price. However, last year’s figure features four outlier transactions, including one for more than $3 million. This year all sales came in between $1.65 and $2.3 million, demonstrating a neighborhood that, unlike many of its neighbors, has not yet found itself overwhelmed by rebuilds and expansions. Burlingame Village remains a modest neighborhood in which homes sold in 2021 averaged 1,580 square feet of space.
