Having grown up in Burlingame, I know how important it is that our schools stay strong and well funded. I look around at what many of my friends are up to today and like to think they became the good people they are now in some part due to the fine education they received in Burlingame. As a Realtor in the community, I hear firsthand nearly weekly from homebuyers how important excellent public schools are in their search criteria. Burlingame is almost always at the top of most lists, in large part due to our schools.
The recent annual report prepared by the Burlingame School District and presented to the Trustees has some good information about how past money has been spent.
