Burlingame High School's Taste of the Town is your best opportunity of the year to sample the best cuisine in Burlingame all in one spot all at one time. The value of your ticket is a fraction of the value of the quality food you'll be eating! Plus, all the proceeds go directly to the BHS Parents Group. The next Taste of the Town is Sunday, March 4 from 1-4 pm at the San Francisco Marriott Waterfront in Burlingame.  That's right. . .it's a new location, and day of the week.

30th Anniversary of BHS Taste of the Town: Party Like It's 1981!

To donate, sponsor, or buy raffle tickets, please visit the Taste of the Town website by clicking here.

WHAT: This is BHS PG’s biggest fundraiser, netting over $100,000 in prior years.  “Your participation in this event continues a long tradition of community support for BHS,” says Chris Holleran, Principal at BHS. “Our students benefit directly from the funds raised at the event and throughout the year by our amazing parent volunteers.  Thank you for your generosity and for attending Taste of the Town."

It is an excellent opportunity to sample food and drink from Burlingame’s restaurant and beverage companies all under one roof: the Burlingame Recreation Center.  Although this venue is familiar to all, it will be transformed for the event. ‘PARTY LIKE IT’S 1981’ has been chosen as this year’s theme to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the event. Jim Skeels, Burlingame’s Parks and Recreation Director says, “The Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to again join forces with Burlingame High School in hosting their annual fundraiser, Taste of the Town. We value the importance of this event for the school and the impact that it has for the students, faculty and families that support school activities.  The City of Burlingame and BHS have had a long positive relationship and this is yet another example of how well this works.  With the event celebrating its 30th anniversary, the last four of which we have hosted at the Recreation Center, we value not only this remarkable event but also the cooperative spirit between the school and the community.  We encourage all to participate, enjoy, and support this significant event.”

Fabulous prizes could be yours with the purchase of a winning raffle ticket.  The 150+ item silent auction for the event will be available for on-line preview as the date approaches. Live music by BHS’s finest musicians and performers will set the mood for a fun evening!  And a DJ will be playing ‘80s tunes!
