Welcome to 689 Bayport Avenue, which we have been lucky enough to call home for the past 6 years! This house has been a wonderful place for our family, and we hope you feel the same 'light and bright' energy the moment you walk in.
The layout is fantastic for entertaining; we’ve hosted many gatherings here, including a few of our daughter's birthdays. The open floor plan with access to the backyard makes for such an easy flow! Having the laundry room separate (with its own utility sink) has been a huge convenience as well, though it would also make a fantastic home office. We especially love the spacious primary bedroom with its dual closets and direct access to the backyard—it’s the perfect spot for a morning coffee.
One of our favorite things about living here is being on a corner lot with an abundance of front yard space, which has seen everything from Birthday Jump Houses to Soccer Practice and everything in between. And the easy access to Downtown San Carlos / Laurel Street is unmatched. Being able to walk over to the Sunday Farmer's Market and enjoy a slice of Banana Bread from California Bakeshop while perusing the other vendors has been something we look forward to on a weekly basis. Not to mention all the other amazing community events like the Art & Wine Faire in September or the Goblin Walk (our daughter's favorite) in October. We have truly enjoyed the walkability of this neighborhood as well as the neighbors themselves, and hope the next owners love it as much as we have.
