Take a walk down Burlingame Avenue and discover treasures you did not know existed. I wandered into Halo, a blow-dry bar quite by accident, and was (no pun intended) blown away. Blow-dry bars are the new hot thing, and here it is, right in the heart of Burlingame. This is a hair salon…but they don’t do cuts, they don’t do color; they do blow-outs that leave you with full and shiny hair that lasts for about 5 days.

There’s a whole menu designed to give you the look you want, whether it’s a straight ‘do or a fancy coif for an elegant evening or prom. (Don’t worry if you want curls…they can do that too.)

The 45 minute blowout is preceded by a shampoo and conditioning treatment, and if you want to add jewels or feathers…no problem. They’ll even do your makeup for a full glamour experience.

You can even take your BFFs for a Girls Night Out party. Host your bridal shower or bachelorette party at Halo, and for the big day, get a group rate for the Bridal Suite for hair, makeup, dressing room and catering.
