Are you ready for the holidays? If you're not quite there yet, the holiday tree lighting ceremonies in Burlingame should put you in the mood.

Downtown Burlingame’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall (right across from the Burlingame Public Library) kicks off the holiday season on Friday, December 2nd at 5:30 PM. Pop on by to downtown Burlingame and enjoy the restaurants and shops, festive decorations, free refreshments, entertainment and Santa Claus! Most stores are open until 8 PM and parking is free in metered lots from 3 – 6 PM, one of the rare times you'll ever find free parking in Burlingame.

If the tree lighting and seeing Santa doesn’t do it, perhaps the classic “A Christmas Carol” at the Coastal Repertory Theater in Half Moon Bay will do the trick. The show runs through December 17th. There isn’t a bad seat in the house, and you can click here to purchase tickets online. To order by phone call 650-569-3266 or purchase at the box office. The Theater is at 1167 Main Street in Half Moon Bay.
